More doodles from work. Had my sketchbook with me that day. Green hilighter is fun. woo!

Went to the comic store yesterday and (finally) picked up the big blue fatty Claire Wendling book, among other things. One of those other things was Mike Allred's Solo issue, which rocked. I'm glad DC's doing this thing. Paul Pope and Jordi Bernet were also past Solo'ers, and next month is Teddy Kristiansen, which I'm pretty sure I'll get too.

Hallo. I've bought a few markers recently to get a bit closer to the palette I've been enjoying in photoshop, but gorramn if it's not hard work!

That's right, I said Gorramn. I have a brown marker for coats, too.

So I have this little blue post-it pad at work, and when I'm waiting for some 1gig photoshop file to save, I grab whatever hi-lighter/marker is nearby and doodle girl heads.

This weekend: layouts for a 2 page story, and plot/outline for a 4 page story. maybe finish Luba. Non-art: oil change, get drunk and play poker with the boys.

In my head, my life is a lot different than what happens when I'm awake. Time to work!
