Heather Mason, complete

Heather from Silent Hill 3, probably my favorite entry in the series and also my favorite protagonist.

I'm considering drawing the other protagonists like this and then doing alternate "nightmare" color versions. But, we'll see. This stuff is just for kicks on the side, gotta prioritize the important art these days!

A lot of people frowned at this title for being "more straightforward" than it's predecessor. However, I thought it was a great way to take a look back at Cheryl's character from a brand new angle and a great opportunity to explore what happened to her. It was like a chance to "heal" Cheryl after all the terrors she lived through (and produced.)

It also addresses a lot of the
evils found in cults and idol worship. Claudia is an example of the way that lies and dogma can pervert and subjugate your mind. Being a Christian, these sorts of things already rub me the wrong way and to see them featured so prominently and antagonistically in games can really make me squirm.

Derpmander

Some casual livestreaming, this is Heather from Silent Hill 3. This is probably what I would go for if I was doing an animated SH or something.

It's getting harder and harder to post art recently because most of my efforts are being contributed to things I really can divuldge much (or any) information about right now. Such is the case with these!

Character concept for one project and comic page from another.

Morrigan

Wanted to draw some more females and with Marvel Vs Capcom 3 coming out (so hyped) decided to draw Morrigan.

Patoot Stylings–Colors

Really quick color job on the sketch from the previous post. No real clean up or anything.

Patoot Stylings

I thought I’d try doing some super-deformed (SD) people. Speaking of which, I hope that one day there’ll be a new Viewtiful Joe game! Maybe him being in Marvel VS Capcom 3 will help boost his popularity and Capcom will soon decide to work on a new V.Joe game!

Frank West vs Phoenix Wright

This is a sketch I came up with based on a request I received during my last livestream. I'll probably continue it on the next one. I don't see Phoenix putting up much of a fight, not willingly anyway!

--Edit--

Posted this before, but somehow it disappeared? Reposted, dated for Monday.

El Tigre?

Because Aysha's been flooding the living room with El Tigre day and night. Also, I redesigned my website, go see! I mean, you know, if you want.

This is some character design work from a personal project that I've been keeping very quiet about. But, I thought I would make a small exception for Chepeng. =)

I wanted to take a quick break from the stuff I’ve been working on and do a bit of a fun piece. I think most people who see my work don’t think of me as a “creature” guy, but I love mucking around with creatures! Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the tiny update.

Kanna Savior

CP and SP

Just like everyone else in the world, Checkered Penguin got to visit his family during the holiday season. He spent most of his trip hanging out with his brother, Scarfed Penguin up north. After talking to SP about the CHEPENG blog, SP asked if he could make an artistic contribution to the blog so he did a quick little portrait of his younger brother. CP thought it was amazingly realistic..but at the same time horrifically insulting. Poor CP.
