Trying to touch pencil to paper every day. Drawing well is such bloody hard work isn't it?? When I have an on day I feel like I could almost draw a comic - on my off day's I'm so spectacularly off I couldn't draw a proper table. I wonder how people manage it at all.

Wow. It's been a little over a year since Ed and I started up Checkered Penguin. Happy one year anniversary! So for those of you who've been coming onto this site wondering what happened to us all, here's somewhat of an update.

As far as I'm concerned, a lot of us have been really busy with a lot of things.

Kevin- Recently completed his site/blog along with a truck load of new art.


Ed Tadem- Aside from sleeping a lot, he's been working on a bunch of projects and he's recently just found a new apartment (congrats)

Py- She's always doing commissions. More than ever, now!

Teben- Got a new job doing caricature work! (congrats) Also, Py and Teben moved into a new place recently.

Myself- I've been doing contract work since late September. Reworking my site and adding a blog, too.


Bob- He's always been busy. Poor guy. :-(

Not sure what's been going on with everyone else, but thanks Danny for posting every so often! A lot of us have also been contributing to http://www.bugglefug.com/dailyscribble. Hopefully some of us will find some time to get back on track and resuscitate the poor Checkered Penguin
