Chepeng Meme: Metal Gear Solid 4 (Part 1)
In the middle of May, some of us Chepengers decided on doing a little group activity in hopes of resurrecting this blog from..well..whatever's been keeping us busy and away. We decided on choosing Metal Gear Solid 4 because-well, we're all pretty big fans of the series and we were all pretty excited about the soon-to-be-but-now-released release of Metal Gear Solid 4.
Our original intention was for all of us to create an image related to MGS in someway by the 11th of June (the day before MGS4 was released). Unfortunately some of us were just way too busy with other assignments, so some day in the future, they'll have their tribute pieces posted up. Until then, we hope you'll enjoy our semi-collective salute to Kojima Production's Metal Gear series!

chepeng, i missed you! i've been busy with work and life, so i honestly haven't really had much of an opportunity to art something out..except for this guy..
anyways, i'm going to try to be more productive and hopefully that'll lead to more chepeng posts! :]

Higgins Black Magic Ink
Dudes! I've been trying to get my hands on some Higgins Black Magic ink. Bought a bottle in San Fran and it's gold, and ink here in Aus is rubbish.
Would anyone be kind enough to buy some and mail it to me if I could give them the cash? I'd be super grateful! It's $2.38 or something in the states, but the only Aussie store wants to charge me about $40US to send me 3 bottles!!

Mammy has Cancer.
I don't typically like to get on my digital journals and such and drop a whole bunch of emotional drama type stuff, but I'm going to make an exception for the sake of my Grandmother this time. I try not to dump much on other people, these days.
My Grandmother on my mother's side, or as I call her, "Mammy," is really sick right now. To be more specific, Mammy has stage 4 cancer, which started in her lungs and spread to her lymph nodes and even her spine some I think. It all kind of happened very quickly. That is to say, it seemed quick to us, anyway. A surprisingly healthy woman for her age, she deteriorated into a bed-ridden, sickly, suffering old woman in only a few short months.
She's been through a single chemo-therapy session and, as I just found out two days ago, the main tumor in her lung had actually shrunken some, apparently as a result of the chemo. Even that small sign of hope is a wonderful blessing and I feel it's an answer to the prayers we've all been making for her sake. But speaking of prayer, that's why I wanted to make a post about this.
I love my Mammy dearly and it's incredibly depressing to say the least. I would really appreciate it if anyone who reads this could say some prayers for her. Our family would greatly appreciate it. I should've put this request out earlier.
